Resident Module

Resident module provides pop-up translation of the words from third-party applications. With the help of Resident Module you can, for example, translate unknown words from web pages and books without exiting the current application. To view translation you do not need to launch SlovoEd dictionary, just select the word and run Resident. Resident start method can be selected in SlovoEd settings.

Pop-up Resident window appears with the word translation. If required translation is not found the nearest words in the dictionary will be shown. Also the words that are close to its base form will be provided.

Morphology Module

for English, French, Russian and Spanish languages

Morphology Module provides word forms for translation, with the help of Morphology Module you can translate the word entered in any grammatical form. (For example, if you use plural nouns and adjectives, different verb forms and so on).

Most of the words occur in common text not in infinitive forms. So, the Morphology Module allows you to use the dictionary more effective when working with foreign literature and will be useful for those users who have just begun learning a new language.

Now you do not need to look for dictionary updates on the web, SlovoEd easily checks for updates automatically. Another available setting is you can set up frequency of update check (every fifteen days, monthly, or twice a year). All you need is to guess just some letters from the mystery word. SlovoEd stores and keeps last 30 words in the Search History and you will easily find any word from the History at any time.

Online dictionary catalog gives you an ability to download new dictionaries directly to your device without any PC connection. Choose the translation direction from the supported 30 languages and get the list of available dictionaries. The short description of each dictionary is provided for comprehension.
